College of Teacher Education, Dahotia Chuk, Tinsukia was established in the year 1993. As a teacher training College the vision of our college is to create quality teacher for secondary education. During this long journey since 1993 the college being faced various odds and challanges is able to maintain the desired objectives of a training institute in connection with varied areas of education, concerned with curriculum and syllabus.
Mentionable that the institute as observed its silver jubilee celebration from 23rd to 24th November, 2018 successfully. Students from different corners of the state apart from remote Arunachal Pradesh have been enriched themselves through this Teacher Training institute and able to engaged themselve in the teaching carrier.
Though, there are much more facilities and infrastructures to be provided to the students taking in to account the introduction of two years B.Ed. programme the institution is trying its level best to fulfill the same and I hope all these required infrastructures would be completed within a short period.
From the Principal’s desk I offer my best wishes to all G.B. members, faculty members, non-teaching staff and the students of current session along with the students of the gone by years whose sincere, honest and painstaking labour put this institute to its present form as one of the premiere under D.U.
